StupidGames ("we", "us") runs free browser games at stupidgames.online. This page explains what data we collect, the cookies we use, who we share data with, and the rights you have. We try to collect as little as possible.
The short version
- The games store small bits of data in your browser (high scores, settings, your cookie choice). That never leaves your device unless stated below.
- We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand which games people enjoy — only if you allow it.
- Ads and affiliate offers help keep the site free. Ad partners may use cookies — only if you allow it.
- You can change your mind anytime via “Manage cookie settings” above or in the footer.
Cookies & similar technologies
We group cookies and local storage into three categories:
Strictly necessary — always on. Includes your cookie-consent choice and game data (scores, mute, progress) stored in your browser's local storage. The site can't function without these.
Analytics — optional. Anonymous usage measurement (e.g. Google Analytics 4) so we can see which games are popular and fix what's broken. IP addresses are anonymized.
Advertising — optional. Ad and affiliate partners (e.g. Google AdSense) may set cookies to serve and measure ads. You can decline these and still play everything.
Information we collect
- On your device (local storage): game high scores, settings, and your consent choice. We don't send these to a server.
- Analytics data (if allowed): pages viewed, games played, approximate region, device/browser type, and anonymized usage events. We don't collect your name, email, or address.
- Marketing attribution: if you arrive via an ad campaign, the URL may include tracking parameters (e.g.
utm_source,clickid) that we store for the session to credit the traffic source. No personal profile is built.
Third-party services
Depending on your choices, we may use:
- Google Analytics 4 (analytics) — Google Privacy Policy.
- Google AdSense / ad partners (advertising) — see How Google uses data.
- Affiliate networks — if you click an affiliate offer, that company's own privacy policy applies on their site.
- Netlify hosts the site and may process standard server logs (e.g. IP, user agent) for security and delivery.
Your choices & rights
Everyone: you can accept, reject, or customize non-essential cookies at any time via “Manage cookie settings”. You can also clear cookies/local storage in your browser.
GDPR (EEA/UK): you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to processing. Our legal basis for optional cookies is your consent, which you can withdraw anytime.
CCPA/CPRA (California): you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to delete it, and to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing”. Rejecting advertising cookies acts as an opt-out signal; we also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) where supported.
Children
StupidGames is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your region). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site grows (for example, when we turn on live ads). Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.

This is a general, good-faith policy template for a demo site and is not legal advice. Before running live advertising — especially personalized ads in the EEA/UK — pair it with a Google-certified Consent Management Platform and have it reviewed for your jurisdiction.
